Monterey Symphony

2015-16 Program

For its 70th Anniversary Season, the Monterey Symphony wanted to create a new look and solidify its brand as the premier organization bringing symphonic performances to the Monterey Peninsula. 

My job was to create a new, clean look for their program, and establish a set of brand standards for them to operate within. The result was a series of six custom programs for each concert, marketing collateral, and fundraising appeals. Each program highlighted the guest artist performing, and updated the audience with up-to-date information about the going's on of the Monterey Symphony including their education platform, notes from the Board President and Music Director, as well as the auxiliary group -- the Friends of the Monterey Symphony. 

 
 
 

Annual Appeal

At the end of the 2014-15 season the Monterey Symphony successfully finished their fiscal year in the black. As a tribute to their highly anticipated 70th Anniversary Season they wanted to accomplish the same feat. In order to generate support amongst their regular season subscribers the Symphony adopted a multi-tiered approach that featured focused, direct letters soliciting support for the Symphony, Orchestra musicians, and the Education programs. Each targeted ask was accompanied by a corresponding visual piece drawing attention to the items discussed in the letters.
